Mark Stothard, a native of Sussex, was born in 1968 and currently resides within Exmoor National Park in the United Kingdom. His academic journey commenced with Electronic Engineering studies at the University of Sussex, followed by Photography studies at the University of Plymouth.

His artistic contributions have been showcased in international exhibitions at venues including Bristol, London, Paris, and Plymouth.

Stothard actively engages in Audio and Visual Practitioner, Practice-led Researcher, Writer and Publisher, leveraging his expertise as a prospective doctoral student in Photography. His research focuses on the portrayal of landscapes and the intricate exploration of emotional responses elicited by visual imagery. Additionally, he contributes his insights and expertise as a guest supervisor and speaker in higher education.
