Mark Stothard, a native of Sussex, was born in 1968 and presently resides within the confines of Exmoor National Park, situated in the United Kingdom. His academic journey commenced with Electronic Engineering studies at the University of Sussex, subsequently followed by a pursuit of Photography at the University of Plymouth.

His artistic contributions have been showcased in exhibitions of international stature, spanning prominent locations such as Bristol, London, Paris, and Plymouth.

Stothard actively engages in practice-led visual research, leveraging his expertise as a PhD candidate in Photography. His research focus encompasses the realms of landscape portrayal and the intricate exploration of emotional responses elicited by visual imagery. Additionally, he extends his insights and expertise as a guest supervisor and speaker in the domain of higher education.
